Laura is involved in a wide range of transactional and advisory work covering all areas of corporate tax, such as financial markets transactions (including loan facilities and fund issuances), cross-border mergers and acquisitions and offerings in the debt and equity capital markets. She also advises on tax related employment and real estate matters.

- advising Infratil Limited as seller in respect of the sale of Manston Kent airport (to a private buyer) and Glasgow Prestwick airport (to the Scottish Government), in particular on the structuring and implementation of the disposals and negotiation of the sale documentation
- advising an international luxury fashion brand on implementing dual contract arrangements for senior executives
- advising an international real estate investment manager on the refinancing and restructuring of a major UK wide self-storage provider
- advising generally on the tax treatment of employee incentive arrangements and termination payments.
Laura qualified into the Corporate Tax team in 2012 having completed her training contract at Simmons & Simmons (which included a secondment to a major investment bank). Before joining Simmons & Simmons, she studied Law with French Law at University College London and as part of her degree spent a year at the Faculté de Droit et de Science politique, Paul Cézanne University, Aix-Marseille III.
