Jack is a supervising associate in the Projects group. He has been involved in a range of corporate and commercial work and international energy and infrastructure projects transactions, including advising on construction projects, project finance and development, joint ventures and major government projects. He is also a member of the firm’s UK Government group.

- advising the Ministry of Defence in relation to the procurement of the fixed wing and rotary wing flying training contract packages under the UK Military Flying Training System
- advising the Ministry of Defence in relation to the sale of its trading fund the Defence Support Group, in particular in relation to the Service Provision Contract
- advising Mainstream Renewable Power Limited in relation to the establishment of its $1.9bn US dollar joint venture in Africa with pan-emerging markets investor Actis, and the sale of wind power projects in South Africa into that JV
- advising NextEnergy in relation to the acquisition of solar projects across the UK and on EPC and O&M contracts.
Jack joined Simmons & Simmons in September 2012 as a trainee solicitor and qualified into the Projects group in September 2014. During his training contract he gained experience in corporate and commercial work, intellectual property, and asset finance. He was also seconded to the firm’s Beijing and Hong Kong offices for six months and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
