Felix specialises in defending professional negligence claims against insurance brokers, construction professionals, accountants and solicitors; and has a particular interest in claims against lawyers arising out of complex conveyancing transactions.
He also specialises in insurance disputes and regularly advises in relation to coverage issues under professional indemnity, D&O policies and reinsurance treaties.

- advising on a claim for damages for professional negligence of about $5m against solicitors brought in Dubai by a Middle Eastern venture capital fund
- advising Insurers on coverage in relation to claims against a large firm of surveyors/valuers arising out of a £20m mortgage fraud ring
- advising on a claim for damages for professional negligence of over £12m against insurance brokers arising out of under insurance following a fire
- acting for architects in the trial of a negligence claim arising out of the collapse of a supermarket roof.
Felix joined Simmons & Simmons in 2011, having practised since 2003 in professional negligence and insurance dispute resolution at well known firms specialising in those areas.
