International law firm Simmons & Simmons Paris office has advised Valor Real Estate Partners, a pan-European real estate investment and asset management company focused exclusively on the logistics sector, in the acquisition of four logistics platforms near Paris and Lyon.
The logistics assets were acquired through three separate transactions. They consist of a network of two buildings totalling approximately 60,000m² in Marly-la-Ville, with direct access to the A1 motorway and in close proximity to Charles de Gaulle airport, a 5,900m² urban logistics courier service in Limeil-Brévannes, which is due for major renovation, and a 11,120m² class A logistics warehouse in Saint-Laurent-de-Mure, which offers excellent access to Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport and is fully leased to two tenants.
Celine Larmet, Partner in charge of the project, says: “We are delighted to have advised Valor on these four acquisitions, which perfectly illustrate the firm's ability to understand the challenges facing its clients, and to assist them in optimising their strategy and growth, particularly in the logistics asset class where the firm has historically supported several leading international players.”
The multidisciplinary team at Simmons & Simmons was led by Céline Larmet, Partner, assisted by Morgan Nussbaum and Alexandre Grevet, Associates, on financial aspects, and was composed of:
- Chloé Nessim, Partner, and Adrien Gros, Associate, on fiscal law aspects
- Taous Mabed, Managing Associate, Nicolas Fournier, of counsel, Sharon Cohen and Thomas Helman, Associates, on corporate aspects
- Emilien Bernard-Alzias, Managing Associate on regulatory aspects
