Simmons & Simmons advises on i-CABLE's rights issue and convertible bonds

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised i-CABLE, an integrated communications services provider in Hong Kong, on its rights issue and issue of unlisted convertible bonds raising an aggregate of HK$660 million.
This is the first rights issue in Hong Kong that involves compensatory arrangements pursuant to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong’s Amendments to the Main Board Listing Rules, effective 3 July 2018. Simmons & Simmons Hong Kong’s Equity Capital Markets team has been involved in the entire process, forumulating the strategy for the deal structure to the closing of the deal, advising on various complex legal, regulatory and licencing issues.
