Chloë Nessim to head Simmons & Simmons tax department in Paris

The Paris office of international law firm Simmons & Simmons has announced the arrival of a new head of tax, Chloë Nessim, who joined the firm on Monday 9 July. This appointment makes Chloë the eighth female partner of 22 in the firm’s Paris office. This is the fourth lateral partner recruitment since the beginning of the year for Simmons & Simmons in Paris.
With over 15 years of experience, Chloë mainly assists investment funds in structuring their external growth transactions (acquisitions, handovers, mergers and joint ventures), notably in the real estate sector. Chloë also brings specific expertise in the domain of financial transactions (financing, real estate financing, securitisation, structured products) and the structuring of investment funds.
Chloë has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2004. She holds a DESS in International Taxation (Paris II Panthéon Assas /HEC Paris) as well as a Business Law Magistère (taxation specialism). Since 2002, Chloë has worked in several international law firms before becoming head of the Klepierre group’s tax department in 2013.
