Leonardo Giani joins Simmons & Simmons bringing two associates

International law firm Simmons & Simmons will expand its Dispute Resolution practice following the recruitment of a new partner*, Leonardo Giani. Leonardo will join the firm on 01 February 2018 to lead the Insurance Litigation team in Milan, he joins from Baker McKenzie where he was partner.

With over 15 years’ experience handling contentious and non-contentious matters of insurance, commercial and bankruptcy law, Leonardo often works on high profile cases. He practices in insurance litigation and advisory focusing on professional liability, public officials’ liability, D&O, medical malpractice, environmental claims, products liability and recall campaigns, casualty claims, property and life insurance.

Leonardo brings two associates with him. The team will primarily focus on advising insurance entities, and their insured clients on claims, commercial disputes as well as coverage and reinsurance.
