New partner joins international dispute resolution practice

Emily Monastiriotis, former head of construction disputes at Bond Dickinson has today joined the international dispute resolution team of law firm Simmons & Simmons.*

Emily specialises in construction disputes, from an insurance perspective (professional risks), and also pure construction (mainly contractor focused). She will be working closely with the construction, projects, and international arbitration teams to further enhance the firm’s offering in these areas.

Simmons & Simmons acts for clients throughout the global insurance sector including insurance and reinsurance companies, bancassurers, insurance intermediaries and service providers. They advise on a variety of commercial issues from professional indemnity, financial lines and directors’ and officers’ liability, to reinsurance, casualty, contractual risk, product recalls and corporate and regulatory matters.

Emily is also a member of the Society of Construction Law and sits on the RIBA professional conduct panel.
