Tesla Acquires Leading German Automation Specialist Grohmann Engineering: Firm Advises Sellers Deutsche Beteiligungs AG and Founder Klaus Grohmann

International law firm Simmons & Simmons advises Deutsche Beteiligungs AG and Klaus Grohmann on the sale of their equity interests in Grohmann Engineering GmbH to Tesla.

Grohmann Engineering is a pacesetter and a world leader in highly automated methods of manufacturing, including for electromobility, and has been owned by Klaus Grohmann (74.9%) and Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (25.1%).

Closing of the acquisition is conditional to the usual closing conditions (including merger clearance approval).

The Simmons & Simmons team was led by Düsseldorf corporate/M&A partner Dr Boris Schilmar who has known Grohmann Engineering for many years and advised them on M&A projects in the past.
