Kitty is a senior professional support lawyer within the international employment group based in London. Kitty specialises in all aspects of employment law in England including discrimination, transfers of businesses, collective dismissals and restructurings.
As a senior professional support lawyer, Kitty is involved in the provision of a traditional range of services to the group and its clients and, in addition, Kitty supports the international group’s client facing activities in relation to developments in employment law by regularly liaising with clients to establish their needs, acting as a consultant and representative in dealings with external organisations and delivering know-how to clients through online and other sources (including telephone conference calls, video podcasts and microsites).
As an employment lawyer, Kitty was involved in all aspects of employment law advice both contentious and non-contentious.

- liaising with the Equality and Human Rights Commission on behalf of a number of major investment banks in relation to the Commission's Inquiry into discrimination in the financial services sector.
- regularly participating in workshops for clients examining the practical impact of key hot topics.
- contributing to the Employment Lawyers Association's response to the government's consultation on guidance to accompany the Equality Act 2010.
Kitty qualified as a solicitor into the employment group at Simmons & Simmons in 1994, having been a trainee at the Firm. Kitty is based in our London office in the employment & benefits department.
