Emmanuel is a general commercial lawyer specialised in commercial litigation and dispute resolution predominantly for clients in the life sciences and energy sectors. His practice mainly covers high level national and cross border disputes in contract law, tort law (notably product liability) and crisis management. Emmanuel has also gained expertise on corporate and general commercial advice.

- assisting a major pharmaceutical company within the scope of a €130m claim related to an alleged wrongful termination of a co marketing agreement
- assisting EDF in the energy industry within the scope of a €500m claim related to a nuclear energy supply agreement against a world leader in aluminium manufacture, design and supply
- advising major international pharmaceutical companies in relation to product liability matters (products including vaccines, NSAIDs, blood products, medical devices)
- defending several companies in breach of commercial relationship related claims.
Emmanuel joined Simmons & Simmons Paris in January 2006. Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, he spent several months in Asia, working on corporate related issues.
Graduated in private law from the University of Paris II, he also holds a postgraduate degree in procedural and arbitration law.
